This is Morningside Park after it snowed earlier this week. Whenever the weather gets cold and grey the park's trees disappear into the clouds and blend into the rest of the city's skyline. It reminds me of Manet's Boulevard des Capucines (1873). And it was only after I took this photo that I realized how uncannily similar the two persepctives are.

Just beautiful ..how the times have changed..now we see more cars on street earlier there were more pedestrian
